If you love books, you probably always carry book along to read, have a title to recommend, and the time to talk about your favourite works of literature.
This space was designed to give lovers of African literature a home to share the love of reading with others, and in so doing enrich African lives. We don’t only focus on work by famous writers, we do our best to read a wide range of literature from all over the continent.
Our aim is to share stories about African lives, the lives that so many of us live, to find our own voices in words we read. We want to give a home to our writers and the stories they tell so that we create a reality where we see ourselves among the nations, are able to place our roots firmly in the African soil, and can shine our colourful crowns with pride for our children to see.
